Castle Hawk Junior Academy

The Academy is based at Castle Hawk and was established in an effort to give its junior members a sense of community as well as the opportunity to build friendships by working as part of a team.

A fully qualified instructor, Ryan Grumbridge, acts as the Academy organiser and head coach and has undergone all relevant CRB checks, recently receiving enhanced CRB clearance. As a priority, all possible measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of its members, including all relevant child protection policies and procedures to safeguard the wellbeing of all juniors at the Golf Club.

As well as working closely with the Golf Foundation, the Academy also has strong links with the local School Sports Partnership at Cardinal Langley. In conjunction with the School Sports Partnership, the Academy has introduced golf to local schools via the Golf Foundations Tri-Golf and Golf Extreme programmes. Resulting from this partnership, we have a number of pupils that have joined the Academy here at Castle Hawk.

At present, Castle Hawk Junior Academy is working towards Golfmark, a prestigeous award in Golf for the achievement of child safety and quality coaching.
